Dispatcher/Telecommunicator

The Lavallette Police Department is currently seeking a Public Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher for the Borough of Lavallette, Ocean County, N.J. The Borough of Lavallette Police Department is seeking a qualified individual for this position. Experience is preferable, but not necessary. Applicant must be able to work flexible shifts of days/nights/weekends and holidays. Applicant must be able to multi-task as well as speak clearly, concisely and in a professional manner. Applicant must have the ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations, if needed. The Borough of Lavallette is governed under New Jersey Civil Service Commission and applicants may be required to take and pass a Civil Service exam. Crossing Guard-Part-Time

Part-Time Crossing Guard-Borough of Lavallette, Ocean County-The Borough is seeking an individual for the position of part-time Crossing Guard. Monday through Friday, from September thru June. Experience is not necessary. The Borough of Lavallette is governed under New Jersey Civil Service Commission and applicants may be required to take and pass a Civil Service exam.
